| Government
agencies, utilities and interested parties that are using SRCC
certifications and ratings
SRCC
implements programs and national rating standards for solar energy
equipment.
These programs and ratings allow government agencies, utility
companies, and interested organizations a means of ensuring that
solar products used in their programs are certified and rated.
The SRCC certification programs also provide a rational basis
for tax credit and rebate qualifying regulation as well as a means
for setting codes and standards.
As
the use of SRCC certification grows, SRCC strives to keep a running
list of the locations where one or more of the certification programs
are required for the installation of a system or for payment of
incentives (tax credit, rebate, etc.). In
order to keep this list updated, we request that you contact SRCC
as you learn of additional locations or can fill in details of
each location's specific requirements.
Currently,
the following states, organizations and utility companies are
requiring that SRCC certified products be used in their solar
programs. This list
is current as of January 2006. (Please note that OG-100 pertains
to the collector certification and rating program, while OG-300
pertains to the system certification and rating program.)
