TEST LABS - ABOUT THE PROGRAM
SRCC's certification program operating guidelines, test methods and minimum standards, and rating methodologies require the performance of nationally accepted equipment tests on solar equipment by independent labs which are approved by SRCC. Additional requirements may be imposed on laboratories by some code jurisdictions, so verify that the laboratory you choose meets all of your requirements. The test results and product data are evaluated by SRCC to determine the product's compliance with the minimum standards for certification and to calculate the performance ratings.
No thermal performance test results initiated or completed by a laboratory prior to the date of SRCC approval of it's testing program will be accepted.
